“Margarita Salas” High School has 24 classrooms of secondary education and 6 for baccalaureate. It is located on the urban edge of Seseña, Toledo, in a natural environment with strong slope. The building is arranged with 6 linear blocks in a spectrum, on the one hand inserted into the ground and on the other, elevated. These blocks are linked by a double-height lobby.
The building was constructed with an optimized system that allows rapid implementation, 5 months, and by phases. The structure lightens as the terrain rises, with a considerable amount of savings in necessary material. Conventional elements are used, but the system allows the building to have a distinct personality.
