“San Gil Abad” Public School consists of 18 primary education classrooms, it is located in Motilla del Palancar, Cuenca.
It is a compact building of two stories and continuous linear development, in a single gesture, it provides order to the parcel, grouping the recreation areas to the south, with optimal exposure to the sun, and access to the north, related to the urban core.
The program is solved in a sequential manner, the section adapts to the use. Natural light enters the corridors through the skylights. The colours and textures in façades and interior together with the “visible” system provide the school with its own personality and reinforces the identification with its main users, the children.
