This hospital is a national reference, belonging to the Public Health System, whose administration and management depend on the Health Service of Castilla La Mancha. This Centre, since its commission, of over 30 years, has led spanish general health care of patients with spinal cord injury, and specifically in comprehensive rehabilitation.
With the new building, we move a step further to improve hospital care excellence and to adjust it to new technologies. We aim to recuperate and reassert value into outdoor spaces, adjacent to the Tajo river, that are much-needed in long stays hospital, for the coexistence and recreation of patients and families.
